Get the proprietary stationary phase with 100% cyanopropyl substituted polydimethylsiloxane. The 100m column of MEGA-10 out-performed any other columns stated in AOCS method (88% cyanopropyl). Cyanopropyl bonding exibited steric hindrance properties which retained more to cis than trans isomers. The analysis time is cut short to about 25 mins with H2 carrier gas.
