Due to its highly polar organic nature, 1,3,5,-Triazine structure of Melamine can be very difficult to retain in HPLC. This application note describe a simple procedure to retain and allow quantitation of Melamine using Fortis HILIC (Hydrophilic Interaction Chromatography).
