Different manufacturers has different coating and bonding technologies to reduce column bleeding and increase operating temperature. High column bleeding in MS detectors increase background noises, thus reduce sensitivity. MEGA 5MS Xil ultra low bleed column is newly launched product that will only start bleeding at 320 deg C oven temperature and the bleed level is lower that most of the common brands in the market.
