Automated headspace sampler is convenient to interface with GC but to same laboratories and institutions, the cost is high. Manual headspace sampler is the most economical device allowed for some international standard methods that needs headspace techniques such as alcohol in blood, volatile impurities in pharmaceutical drugs, favor & frangrance analysis or methanol in biodiesel.
